Nova is special to us as she is from the last litter produced by our foundation female, Indeigh. Along with her half siblings: Hasso, Helge and Gala, Nova continues this great line. Additionally, Nova is sired by our top producing German import, Xano, a dog known for producing outstanding character, health and structure in all his progeny. Since Nova is a daughter of both Indeigh and Xano she is very special to us, not only as an individual dog of merit but also for the bloodlines she carries.
Nova is an upper medium size female, similar in type to her sire Xano, with a high wither, firm back and powerful movement. She has beautiful sable color and lots of bone and substance. Nova has none of the extremes of angulations being seen currently, she is a natural athlete and can gait for hours (and often does) while patrolling our property for rogue squirrels.
Nova is a very happy dog, always ready to play, train or just hang out, and we really enjoy her, outgoing, social nature. She is great with kids, even little ones, and is always sweet and kind to those smaller then herself. She is also a pleasure in the house, being a quiet and easygoing house dog.
Don't let her happy, upbeat, personality fool you though. Nova is a
natural protector and takes her job watching over our household very
seriously. She is always aware of all the comings and goings in the
neighborhood and lets everyone know if someone seems out of place.
