Thorin is a son of our top producing female, May, and a grandson of our much loved female, Eyleen. Like both May and Eyleen Thorin is a beautiful dog with excellent structure. He is an upper medium sized male with powerful bone, a strong masculine head, and fantastic breed type. Already winning, Thorin was Regional Champion for his class (Youth) at the 2006 Mid-Central Conformation Championships under the former president of the German Shepherd Club of Belgium (SVF Daniel Thibaut) who commented on Thorin's excellent breed type, overall strength and power, and rich pigment (Thorin is black factored).
Thorin is also a strong working dog, who is progressing quickly towards his title with owner and novice trainer, Ruth B. Thorin is a happy worker, easy to train and very willing. In protection Thorin is strong and confident and we have had very positive feedback from decoys who work him. Above all else, Thorin is a beloved companion, who lives with his family. Thorin is a confident, outgoing dog with a friendly social disposition loved by all who meet him.
