Titan is out of our very strong producing female May, and sired by our German import Xano. Our "T" litter was a super one, and produced not only Titan but also Thorin and T-Arrow, all titled, OFAed, and excellent dogs in their own right.

Like his sire, Titan is a strong dog: confident, self-contained, and genuinely protective. Titan is a difficult dog to describe, being very happy and sometimes goofy on one hand; and very serious and sometimes naughty on the other hand. Titan is currently my personal protection dog (replacing my precious Hasso, who passed last year), a position he chose for himself and sometimes executes whether I need protecting or not.

Titan is a fun dog to train, he works very hard to please and thinks very carefully about his work. He has great toy drive, but because his greatest joy is a mile-long "victory lap" once he has any toy, I prefer to use food and praise (and belly rubs!) as motivators for his obedience. He is a careful tracker, no surprise, just like his dad. In protection, Titan is a serious dog, prone to "disciplining" decoys if he feels they cross his line. He has full, solid grips, and actively engages the decoy. We are enjoying his training and hope to start his schutzhund titles this year.

While by no means a beauty, Titan has correct structure and is very athletic and incredibly strong. He is masculine, upper medium sized, with good movement and rich red pigment.

Most surprising about Titan to many is how good he is with puppies: Titan loves puppies and enjoys teaching them to play "keep away", with him carrying some favored toy. He is also good with the ladies, but does try to have a "tude" with the other boys. Overall, Titan is a fun dog, very similar in personality to his sire, Xano and we are enjoying him.
