"Susanne - what a well behaved puppy! During the 6 hour drive home, we only had about 10 minutes of whining - less than we got from our kids! He peed at all the rest stops and did not soil his kennel at all. He's already used to his name and already likes to fetch and return his ball. His toilet training is off to a good start and we are trying to be very conscientious about the puppy information that you sent along. Our first vet appointment is tomorrow . Thank you very much!"

Thanks to Patti and Scott for bringing Jackie over for a visit this May, 2010. These are pictures of Jackie at age 10.

"Jackie is just as sassy as ever. People are amazed to hear that she is 10. You would never guess it by watching her when we are out in public or at the barn."

Congratulations to Patti and Scott on adding our Biscuit (a.k.a. W. von der burg Austerlitz) to their household, and to be a new "old" companion for Jackie (they are old friends from when Jackie was first brought into our kennel).

"Biscuit is an absolute BLAST!!! He licked and loved on us all the way home. I know we weren't supposed to drag him around town but I couldn't help myself and we went to Petsmart ... LOL He was very well behaved and picked out a toy (squeaky, of course) that he has been carrying around all afternoon. Oh and you didn't tell us he like to play in the water hose!! OMG!! What a riot ... He was absolutely soaked after we got done playing ... I am gonna go get a kiddie pool and a sprinkler at Wal-Mart tomorrow so he will have a couple more toys. Jackie thinks he is daft ... LOL"

Duke v.d. burg Austerlitz

We just wanted to thank you for allowing us to have "Duke" from your "D" litter last year. He is loving Texas and loving living in Bonham. He just celebrated his 1st birthday and is thriving. He's is a whopping 85+/- lbs. with ears and feet to match! He is an absolute joy to have as a member of our family. His sweet nature and happy, eager-to-learn, eager-to-help disposition fits our lifestyle perfectly. He is partial to afternoon naps, but then so is Clark!! Here are a couple of pictures.

Hero (Bolt) v.d. burg Austerlitz



Hi Susanne,

I thought I'd send you a pic I took of Bolt yesterday. He is turning into a handsome fellow! His coat is gorgeous. I picked up a "puppy chase" (the buggy whip with cord & chamois on the end) at the schutzhund trial. He absolutely loves it, he doesn't lack any prey drive!

I'll keep you updated.

Thanks again for the wonderful puppy. He handled the trip like a trooper. I'm attaching a photo taken today on our drive home. I think he likes the climate. Now that we are home, he can't seem to get enough of romping and rolling in the cool grass. What an incredibly fun little guy!!!

Hi Susanne, We took E- Petro last November. We are extremely happy with him. He is the biggest love ever and just a beautiful happy dog. Very much a family dog. Thanks for all. We just LOVE him.

Grant (Remy) v.d. burg Austerlitz
He's doing great. He has met several people in the neighborhood and played for a while with the children across the street this afternoon. Everyone says he is gorgeous--and that he has huge feet and big ears! He does a good job with sit and down now, so I'm working on stand. He sits by the door and waits until I tell him he can go in or out. I've had two families tell me their adult dogs won't behave the way he does. I always give you the credit for getting him on the right track. Thanks for a great dog. We are having so much fun with him!

"Well we have one leg towards our CD. YIPEEEEE!!!!!! We took second place with a score of 189. I am planning on entering in a trial in October, I might go both Sat and Sun and see if we can finish, since she did so well yesterday. I am so excited that we did so well. I was worried about her recall and she did that fine. She messed up on the heeling, which has always been her strong point. Some dogs broke out barking very close to the ring and she got distracted. I think the other points we lost were on my part."

Indy is out of our "Q" litter: his mother is Amy von der Kristallbrücke Bh AD HIC OFA and his father is V *Xano v. Fichtenschlag SchH3 FH "a".

Wags to Shar and Indy on their successes in the agility ring!

This weekend was our very first agility trial - actually considered as 2 trials on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.

Saturday was off to a rough start - he NQ'd his first three runs. He was, er, we were both so nervous. But he finished the day with a 4th place in his last AG1 run of the day. Things were finally starting to look up. Today, he qualified in all four of his runs on top of earning a 4th place, 3rd place and 1st place w/perfect score on his last run of the day.

So officially he's earned his AG1 title and two legs towards his AG11 title. He's a star and I'm such a proud mom. Pictures are forthcoming.

I took Indy to Norman last weekend for a NADAC trial. It was so awesome. Only our 2nd NADAC trial. He worked with me like a champ. Rec'd a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd and Qualifying scores in two of those runs. One of his runs he had the fastest course time beating out the Aussie and Border Collies in his class. He's the man!

Steve B. was taking pics that weekend (Indy loves him and nearly crawls in his lap every time he sees him) so I'll share them when I receive them. Thanks for listening to me brag.
