von der burg Austerlitz
Available Young, Retired and Rescued Dogs

['R' litter male.]
All young dogs at von der burg Austerlitz are treated with the same level of care as our puppies. All dogs are socialized, trained, and groomed frequently, to help assure a smooth transition to their new homes. They also travel with us to our local dog clubs for more training and socialization, helping to acclimatize the dogs to car travel.

Basic obedience is started around the age of 12 weeks, using only positive motivational methods. Some older dogs may also have tracking and schutzhund protection work started. (We do not sell trained personal protection dogs.)

All our dogs are crate trained and are acquainted with being in the house. Vaccinations, heart worm preventative and wormings are kept current, and current hip x-rays are always available on request, for dogs over 6 months of age. Additionally, nearly all our young dogs are covered by our guarantee/sales contract.

Our retired dogs are nearly always dogs that we have kept, either for our breeding program or as one of our training/competition dogs. As such, each of our retired dogs are special to use, and have been a member of our family for years. We only offer retired dogs to new homes when we think it would be the best thing to do for a particular dog. We are very selective on homes for our retired dogs. If you are interested in an older, retired dog, please ask us about our "retirement" program.

We always prefer that you pick up your new dog in person. However, if this is not possible, airline shipment is available (weather permitting). A health certificate is provided, as is a complete health record. Additionally, all our dogs are registered with the AKC, and are also eligible for USA registration. Our dogs are only placed in approved, loving, permanent homes.
